Michael has been refreshing rooms and bringing spaces to life in the Ipswich and Felixstowe areas for the last 12 years. He learned his decorating skills with a commercial firm before branching out on his own 10 years ago. Since becoming a sole trader Michael's creative solutions, problem solving brain, attention to detail and general amiability has meant most of his work has been repeat for the same clients, decorating houses room by room over years for some of his customers.Over the last few years Michael has taken on larger, commercial projects such as La Vida nightclub and Loca Restaurant at Beach Street, Felixstowe. This has allowed Michael's imagination, creative and design skills to come to the fore. At La Vida and Loca he worked with his clients to elevate ordinary spaces to something cool, interesting and playful. From building bars, creating fun cupboard space and supplying sass for Diva's changing rooms, Michael's unique mix of skills have helped his clients achieve their dream spaces. At Loca you will also find a number of Michael's commissioned modern art pieces and his work in The Foyer shows how he has created a functional art piece from recycled materials to elevate a dark corridor space and provide a solution to a previously water damaged wall.When not working for clients, Michael can be found in his workshop designing, renovating and making modern art.
